As believing Muslims, we should be active in the development of community life. Just saying “I believe” is not enough. Allah say in Quran, “Be ye the helpers of Allah”. As we know the ansars, or the helpers of Allah, were those who were given this title because they were engaged in the establishment of the community life in Medina. We also share this same responsibility. We cannot just be Jummah or Ramadan Muslims. Get involved. If you have a special skill or education that you received by the blessings of Allah, then give back to the community.
